All-in-One vs 510 Cart: Which Should You Buy?

Choose an All-in-One if you want something ready to use with no battery to buy, charge or carry. Choose a 510 cartridge, like Jeeter Juice or 510 Postless, if you already own a battery or plan to vape regularly and want to switch strains easily. Both hold about a gram of oil.

What's the basic difference?

A 510 cartridge is just the oil tank and heating coil. It screws onto a separate, reusable 510-thread battery. An All-in-One is the oil, coil and battery sealed into one device. One is a system you build on; the other is a single, self-contained product.

At ShopJeeter the cartridges are Jeeter Juice and 510 Postless; the self-contained devices are the All-in-Ones.

Which is easier to carry?

An All-in-One is a single small device with nothing to attach or forget, which makes it the easier one to carry. A 510 setup means a battery plus a cart, but you can unscrew the cart and switch the battery off so nothing fires in your pocket. Either way, keep it upright, out of hot cars and out of reach of children, and remember that crossing state lines with cannabis is illegal even between legal states.

When is an All-in-One the better choice?

  • You're new to vaping and want the simplest possible start.
  • You vape occasionally and don't want to keep a battery charged.
  • You want one small device for a trip or an evening, with nothing to lose or forget.
  • You'd rather not think about heat settings at all.

Our All-in-One how-to covers first use and storage.

When is a 510 cart the better choice?

  • You already own a 510 battery, or you vape often enough that a reusable one makes sense.
  • You like adjusting heat settings to suit each strain.
  • You enjoy rotating between strains: you can keep a few carts and switch in seconds.
  • You want less electronic waste over time, since you keep the battery.

What about cost over time?

Prices for each product are on its page, but the pattern is simple. With a 510 setup, you pay for a battery once and then only buy carts. With All-in-Ones, the battery is part of every device, so you're effectively buying a new battery each time. If you vape now and then, that hardly matters, and the convenience of an All-in-One is worth it. If you vape most days, a reusable battery usually works out better over a few months.

There's an environmental side too. A reusable battery means fewer lithium batteries to dispose of. Whichever you choose, recycle empties properly; see how to dispose of vapes and carts.

Can you try both?

Yes, and many people do: an All-in-One for travel or nights out, and a 510 battery with a few carts at home. Because both formats come in many of the same strains, you can stick with a favourite flavor across them. Browse Jeeter Juice, 510 Postless and All-in-One side by side to compare.

Does the oil inside differ?

Not because of the format. Both formats come with Liquid Diamonds or live resin oil, depending on the product line, and both are made per strain. Choose the hardware that suits how you vape, then choose the oil and strain. Our live resin vs Liquid Diamonds guide helps with that second step, and how to pick a Jeeter by mood helps with the third.

Whichever you choose, start with a small puff, wait a few minutes, and never drive after using cannabis.
