What Is a Postless 510 Cartridge?
A postless cartridge is a 510 vape cart built without the metal centre post that runs through the middle of a classic cart. It still screws onto any standard 510-thread battery. What is the post in a normal cartridge?
Look at a classic vape cartridge and you'll see a metal or ceramic tube running up the middle of the glass, from the base to the mouthpiece. That's the centre post. The vapor travels up through it to your mouth, and the oil sits in the space around it.
It's a simple design that has been around for years, and it works. But the post takes up room inside the tank and sits in the middle of your view of the oil.
What changes in a postless cart?
A postless cartridge is built without that centre tube. The airflow is routed differently, so the middle of the tank is open. The practical differences for you are small but noticeable:
- You can see the oil clearly, so it's easy to tell how much is left.
- The tank looks cleaner, with no tube in the middle.

Will a postless cart fit my battery?
Yes, as long as your battery is a standard 510-thread battery, which almost all cartridge batteries are. Screw the cart on gently until it stops. If your battery has a deep or narrow connector, check that the cart sits flush and makes contact; most do.

How do you choose a postless strain?
Start with the strain type and the mood you're after. Every 510 Postless cart is named after a strain and labelled indica, sativa or hybrid, along with Jeeter's mood tags, such as Night Cap, Brainstorm or Rabbit Hole. Indicas are usually chosen for evenings, sativas for daytime and hybrids for something in between, although everyone responds a little differently. What should you check when your cart arrives?
Check that the packaging is sealed, that the label shows a batch number and the producer's details, and that the cart has no cracks or leaks. How do you use a postless cartridge?
